How It All Began: My plant journey started after I lost my beloved Frenchie, Spike. 🐾💔 He was my buddy for almost 12 years, but for nearly eight of them he was paralyzed, and caring for him and his limitations was a huge part of my life. When he passed, I had this massive hole in my heart and way too much free time on my hands.
Enter plants. 🌱
It began with a pothos (because, duh, starter plant), which killed and revived many times and spiraled into a full-blown jungle obsession. Plants gave me something to nurture, and in return, they’ve taught me patience, resilience, and how to laugh at myself (looking at you Alocasia). Fast forward two years, and my plant fam is now over 100 strong—each with its own story, personality, and occasional diva moments. 🌿🎉💚
